Some Nigerians on the social media have dragged the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, to the mud over his comments that he does not have direct access to his principal, who is currently in the UK.
Adesina told Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Tuesday morning, where he revealed: “I am not directly in touch with the President, but I speak with those around him in London.
But some Twitter users have lambasted Adesina, saying if he has no direct contact with the President, he should keep his mouth shut.
tweeted: “We were the ones who worked under shadows to get @MBuhari
elected. One of his biggest mistakes was appointing the incompetent Femi Adesina.”
tweeted: “If you ain’t in direct contact with Mr. President, please stay quiet. It’s people like you that…”
