Achuzia's victorious "Abagana ambush" in March 31, 1968 against the Nigeria federal forces remains one of the greatest achievements in any battle. Wiping out a whole battalion in single strike including 106 armoured vehicles.

Murtala Mohammed was forcefully and temporarily re-assigned by Gen. Gowon for the huge loss of lives and military equipment.

Biafran Warrior!!!

That was no small success.. I mean, what a great military success?!!

...and it was actually a Brigade, not a battalion.

It was a convoy of 100 Trucks, laden with arms and ammunition and hundreds of Nigerian Soldiers. The convoy was completely destroyed at Abagana by Achuzia and his men. Achuzia was an incredibly brave Officer. I recommend that everyone should read his book "Requiem Biafra" to read about his many exploits in the War front.

The Great Achuzie use his surrounding to defeat his more equipped adversaries.
He is a master of the art of war.
Military action is important to the nation-it is the ground of death and life, the path of survival and destruction, so it is imperative to examine it.

Look at that terrain, that ground is not well trafficked and the foolish nigerian soldiers used mounted units to access it.
That is a surrounded group and perfect for ambush. It is best to use light footed and lightly armoured infantry to access and take hold of such ground, that way, if u re ambushed ur losses Will be less.
